PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

A member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Pujol is on the Executive Boards of the Polk County Trial Lawyers Association and the Wilson Inns of Court. He is also a member of the  Florida Justice Association and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of America. He is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts, Federal Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, Federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  Most recently, Mr. Pujol was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to become  a member of the  Judicial  Nominating Committee for the 10th Judicial Circuit which is made up of Polk, Hardee and Highlands County.

WORK HISTORY

Mr. Pujol started his legal career working on complex commercial litigation and products liability cases in Miami and Tampa, Florida. He joined the then central Florida law firm Lane, Trohn, Clarke, Bertrand, Vreeland, and Jacobson. In 2000, Mr. Pujol founded his own trial firm with trial attorney Robert Brush. He has spent a significant amount of his time involved as both plaintiff and defense counsel in complex commercial litigation, personal injury cases, insurance disputes, and products liability cases. The experience representing major national corporations enables Mr. Pujol to more adequately advise the consumers he now primarily represents.

PERSONAL

In his personal life, Mr. Pujol enjoys his family, and is married with four children. He volunteers extensively at his church, The Salvation Army, and has been called to emergency volunteer service for local, state and national emergency situations.

EDUCATION

Mr. Pujol graduated with a 3.98/4.0 from the University of South Florida with dual majors in Liberal Arts and Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Florida where graduated number five in his class. Throughout his undergraduate and legal education Mr. Pujol received numerous honors, distinctions and memberships to select organizations including American Jurisprudence Book Award in Contracts I and II, Executive and Senior Articles Editor with the Florida Journal of International Law, Phi Delta Phi National Honor Society, Law I and II Scholarships, Pre-Law Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, USF Legal Briefs, Editor.
